Meet Daniela, the face of LPC's latest Bamboo Linen Embroidery Collection
Daniela is wearing the Carla Butterfly Sleeve Top and Cecelia Skirt in White and Blue.
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am a multifaceted woman. Architect by trade but after 10 years, the pursuit of love made me start a new profession as a stewardess on yachts. I really enjoy helping to make the trips unforgettable for the people I am assigned to take care of. As a stewardess you travel a lot and you meet people from all over the world. That's how I got to Miami, I've already spent a year and a half here and ready for my next destination.
As a model, how do you overcome the standard of beauty pressure?
At the time I started modeling (2006) the beauty standards were much more rigorous. It was extremely rare to be able to see a plus size model on the catwalk. Today, I appreciate that these strict standards are being broken and all kinds of bodies are accepted. Modeling helped me accept myself, embrace my flaws, have good eating habits, take care of my body and raise my self-esteem.
I always have in mind that we are all unique and unrepeatable, no one is like you and that is your super power.
If your body is healthy, beauty comes in addition. My advice is to take care of your body and cultivate your mind. You only have one and you will live in it all your life.
What did you think of the traditional embroidery pieces in the Bamboo Linen Collection?
WOW, it's incredible how they combined Mexican embroidery with exquisite taste and sustainable materials.
I had the opportunity to wear all the garments in the collection and I can only say that in addition to being beautiful they are very comfortable. Difficult to choose only a few but I loved the embroidered vest and the silk poncho "truly pieces of art".
Daniela is wearing the Macfarland Vest in White.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Cherish every single day you have left, because tomorrow is never promised.
Favorite trip or destination?
Mexico, I can't wait to go back and enjoy all the wonderful places it offers, its people and gastronomy.
