The lightness of a fresh season, the effortless beauty of nature, and the freedom to move with grace and ease. Melony sat down with us to share an inspiring behind-the-scenes look on her favorite Spring silhouettes and trends.

Q: What sources of inspiration ignite your personal style?
A: Nature, Travel, Mood and Sunshine. The colors you see in nature - sand, leaves, flowers, sky - all about a playful mood, optimism, energy. With travel on the rise in the summers of Spring and into Summer, basics are also essential so sticking to the navy blue, charcoal/black and white helps to intermix and pair various pieces when traveling.
Model is wearing the Q: What are your favorite hues for Spring?
A: My favorite hues of the season again, speak to the basics, but I love pops of color such as pink, red, sky blue and yellow. I also love to include the soft earth tones of warm sand and various greens. I tried to introduce colors that play well together!
Q: How are you styling the new collection?
A: I like to create such versatile styles that can be layered and worn from day to night. The Tracey Off-The-Shoulder Top and The Debra Double-Lined Jersey Skirt - make for the perfect brunch, work event and night out. Simply layer with either The Alexandra Denim Trench, The Daniela Lambskin Blazer, The Ginny Blazer or The Teresa Lambskin Trench and you are ready for various climates and also ready to wow anytime of day or night for any occasion!
Q: How do you transition your wardrobe between seasons?
A: At LPC, we intentionally design staple pieces that are easy to mix all year round. For me, it is always about quality fabrics that feel luxurious on the skin. And don't forget about the attention to fit details that serve every woman’s body. People think they must wear heavy, dark pieces in winter but you can still layer our light pieces and jackets all winter long. Then add pops of color to lighten things up for Spring.
Q: What is the key to LPC's signature style for you?
A: The key to LPC's signature style is to bring confidence and comfort and exceed a woman’s expectations from the time they step into our fabrics until the very moment they take them off! I hope to convey to women that ultimate style does not have to be uncomfortable nor does she need to change outfits multiple times a day. Allowing women to spend more time enjoying friends, family, good weather and conversation is much more productive than spending time choosing outfits that do not feel sensational!
